Here's a film that's about 10 minutes of an actual horror movie followed by 40 minutes of story, told as fast as ever possible, followed by an elaborate five-stage climax that goes for about 30 minutes. None of it really works after the first ten minutes because the movie is so obsessed with telling it's not-that-great-about-mental-illnesses -story at top gear during the time it should instead be building up to a climax and generally just being scary. Because the build-up fails, the climax follows suit.
